ABOUT ME
My story as a freelance translator began five years ago and, since then, I have never stopped chasing words.
I had the opportunity to deal with different areas, from the legal to the medical, from the technical-scientific to the editorial, discovering new challenges and new perspectives each time.
What all my translations have in common is attention to detail and attention
to the message, because translating for me is not just transposing a text into another language, but transforming it into a bridge capable of merging cultures, ideas and people.
Every project is an opportunity for me to grow professionally.
The translator, in fact, is a profession that requires research, continuous updating and, above all, passion: that same passion that accompanies me in every project
and which pushes me to always look for the best, precise and calibrated translation, but also alive and creative.
TITLES AND CURRICULUM
I achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Languages, Literatures and Intercultural Communication at the University of Salento, elaborating the final thesis in English language, entitled "Exploring English lingua-franca uses in education and research contexts"; subsequently, I continued my studies at the same University, achieving the Master's Degree in Technical-Scientific Translation and Interpreting, elaborating the master thesis in Spanish language, entitled "La vida según los andaluces: ¡qué arte! Análisis y traducción de un monólogo humorístico de Dani Rovira".
I attended an academic year in Seville, Spain, at the "Pablo de Olavide" University, deepening my study of the Spanish language and culture.
My approach to foreign languages has always been characterized by curiosity
and desire to learn. During my university career I have acquired and refined translation and interpretation methodologies, becoming more passionate about literary translation and, in 2020, I started my activity "in the field".
Today, I can define myself as a young professional with a strong motivation
to learn and grow professionally.
